The card data provided by your guests is secured according to the highest industry standards (PCI DSS). This service means more protection for your hotel brand and reduces data breach and reputational risks.

The Secure Card Display interface will allow you to access the details of the payment method provided by your guests and securely stored by SysPay.

By default, you have access to basic information only.

If Booking Verification is activated, comprehensive data, including the risk level of the payment instruments provided by your guests, will be made available through the Secure Card Display.

If the Processing service is activated, you will be able to process one-off transactions (pre-authorisations, authorisations, debits, refunds) and you will gain access to a detailed searchable history of all your operations.

They are both available to all professional hosts or individuals and property management companies registered within the territory of Europe.

You are not working with a SysPay partner:

You can register for a SysPay account here. Booking Verification and Processing features will be available from the account back-end. Feel free to discuss the SysPay services with your booking / reservation software provider. 

As soon as your account has been upgraded, we will send you an email informing you which services you can start using immediately.

No problem! There are no set-up or monthly fees and you can sign off from using the services.
In order to disable Booking Verification service, select “On Demand” from your SysPay backend, Settings > Booking Verification. If you no longer want to use SysPay to process transactions, you can deactivate your account from your SysPay backend.

SysPay accepts all types of legal incorporations, partnerships and individual registrations as long as they are based in Europe.

Processing of all VISA and MASTERCARD branded cards is done by SysPay.

To process AMEX branded cards:

You must have a Multi Currency Account (MCCY) opened with AMEX directly.

Your AMEX Merchant ID number must be submitted in your SysPay account backend. To do so, please login to your account and go to Processing > Settings > AMEX.

SysPay will technically process all your AMEX transactions, however all processed funds will be settled directly from AMEX.

SysPay can process transactions in most world currencies. Settlement of payment transactions will be done in either EUR, GBP or CHF, depending on your country of residence.

When your customer enters their payment card details, SysPay will recognise the card country and currency and will offer the cardholder to carry on with the transaction in their local currency..

If your customer chooses the above option, they will be charged the booking amount in their local currency. SysPay will display the exact local currency amount they will be billed for. Using the local currency payment allows customers to avoid unknown bank FX conversion fees.

As a merchant, you will still receive the exact amount as advertised by you in the currency you have indicated You will not be a subject to any currency conversion or additional fees for this service.

For instance, if you want to bill €100 to a US based customer, SysPay will offer your American customer to pay either the €100 amount or the equivalent amount in USD. Whatever the choice of your customer, you will get paid 100€ as requested.

The Processing service activation depends on the speed with which we obtain all necessary due diligence documentation or information. Processing capabilities will be activated not later than 3 business days after receiving all requested compliance documentation.

It is mandatory for your bank account to be held with a European reputable credit institution in order for you to make use of the SysPay Processing service.

Yes, you can take a screenshot / photo of this information online including the necessary elements, namely the name of the account holder, the account number and dating elements showing that it is less than 6 months old.

It is important to clearly distinguish between a bank statement and a IBAN) which only contains the identity of the holder of a bank account and their bank details and therefore will not be able to prove the temporality of less than 6 months.
